Show Jumping – Alyssa Cook Ally grew up with horses in her blood and has been riding since before she could walk. Has been involved in Pony Club since she was 10 years old and specialises in Show Jumping. She began competing seriously at 14 and has competed at 4 Pony Club National Champs as a Junior in 2009 then as a senior in 2011, 2013 and 2015. She is currently competing 2 horses, one at 100cm and a youngster just learning the ropes. She has trained with many of Australia’s top show jumping riders including Jono Farrington, Jeff Evans and Clive Reed. Ally believes in a strong foundation focusing on the partnership between each horse and rider, with an eye on your goals whatever they may be.
Mounted Games – Sue Young We are fortunate to have an Mounted Games Instructor of Sue’s calibre in Metro Zone. Sue has been actively involved in Mounted Games Association for many years and has managed and supervised our Metro Zone Games teams through more State Champs and Zone Finals events than even she cares to remember. When Sue speaks, we listen, because we know she knows what she’s talking about. And when it comes to nurturing and encouraging and motivating riders, there are no safer hands for a rider to be in than hers.
